Kikimoras Production, based in Barcelona
About us
Kikimoras Production is an independent production company based in Barcelona, founded in 2026 by producer Anna Rudakova.

The company grew out of an established creative team within the Female Films Forever community, whose collaboration began with independent short films in 2023. Kikimoras Production brings together a shared commitment to off-the-beaten-path storytelling and artistically driven filmmaking.

Working across auteur-driven cinema, Kikimoras Production develops and produces projects with a strong visual identity and a distinctive personal voice. Its approach combines a commitment to exploring women's experiences with hands-on production expertise shaped by the team's international and cross-cultural backgrounds. This perspective allows the company to build narrative bridges between cultures, languages and pressing social issues.

With experience in production design, art direction and international audiovisual productions, the team brings a multidisciplinary perspective to every stage of the filmmaking process. Careful resource management, collaborative problem-solving and an understanding of the relationship between creative development and production are central to its working philosophy.

Kikimoras Production is building a slate of short films that reflects its commitment to emerging voices, original feminine perspectives and cinema that embraces experimentation.

  • Anna Rudakova
    Founder & Producer
Anna Rudakova is a Barcelona-based film producer and production designer working across independent cinema, international film productions and commercial projects. She began her career in the art department, progressing from assistant to head of the production design team. Over the years, she developed a deep understanding of visual storytelling and the practical challenges of bringing a creative vision to the screen.

Her experience spans feature films, short films, television, music videos and advertising, with credits involving Hallmark Media, Escandalo Films, Fake Studios and Sierra Production House. She has worked on projects for internationally recognised brands including SEAT, Audi, San Miguel, Rimmel London and SHEIN, across production design, art direction, set decoration and graphic design.

Her background in both the creative and practical sides of filmmaking shapes her approach to producing. She understands what it takes to make ambitious ideas work within real production constraints — from budgets and schedules to logistics and resources — without losing sight of the original vision.

In 2026, she founded Kikimoras Production, growing out of a creative team that had already been collaborating on independent short films since 2023.

    Director, Artist
When my reality crashed apart, it is art that became most essential—it reminded me who I am, gave me hope and energy to go forward.

That's why the beating heart of my stories is people in search of their identity, those who are not afraid to seek their own path, even if everything says, "Don't you dare!”

However, I see this world as a fairy tale—mystic, absurd, but always full of wonders. Through this lens, I explore reality because it is easier to speak of what matters the most.

My films are stories of strength, vulnerability, and the magic of everyday life. My characters are full of love, beauty, and a sense of humor. Getting through the toughest times, they change the world around them. Seeing happiness not as a luxury but as a salvation.
